I'm a poet and physics teacher living on the tradition territory of the Lheidli T'enneh in Prince George, BC. I have four books of poetry, Sprocket, Undiscovered Country, This Isn't the Apocalypse We Hoped For, and Understories. I've also had six chapbooks published: Behind the Bladed Green, Deerness, Four Neat HolesThe Picket Fence Diaries, Black As Crow, and Sumas Flats. My poems have also been published in a variety of journals, anthologies, and videopoems, and a selection have been translated into Italian and Spanish.

Poems in Italian

An Italian poet, Sandro Pecchiari, contacted me about a month ago and said he had translated a handful of my poems from my first book, understories. I was floored. You can look at one of his translations, Sometimes It's the Birds, and hear him read it in Italian here   His publisher in Italy has a similar post here

Is This Beulah Land?

   Is This Beulah Land? is a new videopoem collaboration that will be premiered on the big screen this Sunday, Mar 9th, 2014, at Cinema CNC's    Film Festival (at the PG Playhouse), using a poem that will hopefully become a part of my third book.
