Projects

-- here is a documentary of a unique poetry event that links sculpture and poetry

-- I'm finishing up a long-poem that I hope will be included in a future book. It's been fun to try out excerpts of it at different open mics, sometimes to improvised blues music or drumming.

-- In the photo gallery you will see some pictures of a collaboration with my artist & sculptor friend, Phil Morrison, who carved my poem, "Bring Me My Sky-Canoe" into his canoe. The poem will be included in my new book, "This Isn't the Apocalypse We Hoped For", and it is an honour to see it become a tangible art piece (currently hanging at the Two Rivers Gift Shop).

-- Poetry in Transit picked me again in 2013, for This Isn't the Apocalypse We Hoped For, and this time I went down to read in the poetry bus at WORD Vancouver

-- It was great to be included in the Poetry in Transit project in 2010; "Fidelity" (from 4 Poets) was another poem that spent some time travelling around, this time in Vancouver.
